Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using YuhPlace ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Content Policy

You are responsible for all content you post on YuhPlace. You agree not to post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or deceptive
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
• Promotes illegal activities or substances
• Contains spam or unauthorized advertising
• Violates the privacy of others

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.

4. Transactions

YuhPlace is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We do not facilitate payments, guarantee the quality of goods or services, or act as a party in any transaction. All transactions are conducted directly between users at their own risk. We encourage users to follow our Safety Tips when conducting transactions.

5. Limitation of Liability

YuhPlace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to losses from transactions, data breaches, or service interruptions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

6. Intellectual Property

The YuhPlace name, logo, and all associated branding are the property of YuhPlace. Content you post remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display and distribute it on the Platform.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that is harmful to the community. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Georgetown, Guyana.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
