Finding a Ride
Option A — Browse drivers
Head to the Rides section. See all available drivers near you — taxis, hire cars, and minibuses.
See their vehicle, service type, and areas covered. Tap the WhatsApp button to message them directly.
Discuss your pickup spot, destination, and price on WhatsApp. Then they come to you.
Option B — Post a ride request
Enter your pickup and destination. Your request is visible to all available drivers instantly.
Available drivers nearby receive a push notification about your request.
Interested drivers will reach out on WhatsApp. Pick the one that suits you best.
Offering Rides (Drivers)
Create your driver profile: vehicle type, areas you cover, and license plate. Takes 2 minutes.
Tap the 'Available' toggle when you're ready to take rides. Passengers can see you on the map list.
When a rider posts a 'Going Now' request, you'll receive a push notification if you have them enabled.
Tap the request to view pickup and destination, then message them on WhatsApp to confirm.
Mark the ride as complete after drop-off. Riders can leave you a star rating.
Scheduled Trips & Seat Sharing
For minibuses & hire cars
A driver heading Georgetown → Berbice at 7 AM posts their trip with total seats and price per seat.
Switch to the 'Trips' tab on YuhRide to see all upcoming scheduled routes near you.
Select how many seats you need and confirm. Available seats update in real time.
After booking, a WhatsApp link connects you directly with the driver to confirm your pickup point.
